Our Cardiff Aparthotel: Moments from the Stadium, Shopping & Station (Front Lofts)

Was nice and convenient Positive: Very central, so close to train and bus! Bed was comfy kitchen was handy Negative: I think they could do with a luggage storage unit and there was some very loud noise in the room at night like an air con system going all night

Perfect city break if you don’t mind the noise Positive: Perfect location for a city stay. Bed was comfortable and it was cosy. Very modern and nice. Negative: Noise outside

Positive: An excellent stay in a very nice room. Everything provided right down to dishwasher tablets. Never stayed at a higgihaus establishment before but we will actively seek out their places to stay when we go away again. Negative: Nothing

Didn't even stay the night Positive: Central location and decent amenities Negative: Room was filthy and clearly not been hoovered, toilet seat was broken and barely attached, radiator was hanging off wall, load of wet washing in the washing machine, sofa was stained and covered in hair both human and from the fur rugs on the sofa, bed was so low to the floor it was actually just a mattress on the floor and the windows were so thin that even at 3pm you could hear all the people drinking and yelling in the pubs below when the window was closed. We immediately left and booked in to another hotel and asked for a refund as the room was not up to the standards we had expected given all the previous positive reviews

Positive: We had a great stay! Location is very comfortable - 4 minutes walk from the central train station, a lot of restaurants are just around the corner. Also, there is a huge mall & market street in 5 minutes. Apartments have all the necessary things for living. Washing machine & dishwasher are definitely a big plus! There is a noizy pub in the same building, but we were leaving at the third floor, so we didn’t hear anything at night. Negative: The only nuance is absence of an elevator. If you have heavy luggage, you’ll probably face with a bit of suffering.
